      <image:title>About ILA Wine - Who we are</image:title>
<image:caption>Once upon a time there was an architect, a mathematician and an engineer… Their names were respectively I, L and A. They were all born in the beautiful island of Sardinia, but they all met in Zurich, by chance. They met at a course to become professional ASSP sommeliers as they all needed a justification for all the money they spent in wine! ILA Wine was born after they passed their sommelier exam and realized that was just the beginning. ILA Wine is a way to share their passion and to have the chance to make it available all those people out there which would like to explore and learn more about it. In 2018, they started to organize private non-for profit wine tastings, which had great success and brought together a fantastic crew of old and new friends and they regularly share online the wines they taste @ila_wine_zurich. In 2021 they decided that too many unique wines from great produces are still not available in Switzerland and started to import some of them. ILA Wine is their way of bringing this all together in an organized way: the wine-tastings, the experience-sharing and undiscovered wines and winemakers they are constantly looking for.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Winemakers - La Vedetta</image:title>
<image:caption>La Vedetta rises in one of the most exceptional areas of the Barbaresco denomination in terms of location, microclimate and morphology of the vineyards. Here, the view sweeps over the most spectacular hills of the area that, seamlessly, compete to fill the space of the sky: the Martinenga amphitheater; the winding curves of the vine rows of Asili, the steep slope of the Rabajà. La Vedetta is the story of a comeback. Marco, humanistic studies, a degree in Economics and an internship abroad, where he has worked for some multinational corporations. In Germany, he met Swantje, his partner, and with her he started planning his return. He wanted to rediscover the places of his childhood through a project that would have made them most happy: reclaim the family vineyards and put them to good use. With the help of his uncle Michele, who knows the land by heart, and the oenologist Piero Ballario, they create a wine that speaks of roots, of love for the Langhe, of the simple complexity of this place.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Winemakers - Lo Triolet</image:title>
<image:caption>Lo Triolet vinery was born from the great passion of is founder Marco Martin, for winemaking in the extreme conditions which one finds in the mountain vineyards of the Aosta Valley. Marco’s winemaking is all about reaching the highest quality levels and developing the wines to their full potential. Lo Triolet strives to preserve the quality of the grapes, by taking maniacal care of them all year long, expecting and encouraging the very characteristics of each grape type, of each vineyard. Technology might help, but are ideas, experiences, research and feelings which define the character of each of their wines.</image:caption>
