They were all born in the beautiful island of Sardinia, but they all met in Zurich, by chance. They met at a course to become professional ASSP sommeliers as they all needed a justification for all the money they spent in wine! ILA Wine was born after they passed their sommelier exam and realized that was just the beginning. ILA Wine is a way to share their passion and to have the chance to make it available all those people out there which would like to explore and learn more about it. In 2018, they started to organize private non-for profit wine tastings, which had great success and brought together a fantastic crew of old and new friends and they regularly share online the wines they taste @ila_wine_zurich. In 2021 they decided that too many unique wines from great produces are still not available in Switzerland and started to import some of them.
